Rhinoplasty Recovery Week-by-Week: What to Expect After a Nose Job

Rhinoplasty recovery is far easier than most patients anticipate. Here is a clear timeline of what to expect during healing:

Week 1: The Splint Period A protective external splint keeps the nasal bones secure. Mild congestion is normal. By day 7, Dr. Sheraz removes the splint in the clinic.

Weeks 2 – 4: Return to Daily Routine Most residual bruising around the eyes fades within 10 to 14 days. You can confidently return to public life, work, and social events.

Months 3 – 12: The Subtle Cartilage Refinement While your nose looks great within a month, the delicate skin around the nasal tip continues to shrink-wrap over the reshaped cartilage for up to a full year, revealing finer definition.
